Ok, My name’s Hope Zachangni and uh I’m going to tell you a story of why I’m an artist instead of a musician. It happened when I was in kindegarten and I had a teacher who was, who was really kind of mean. And we had a rhythm band at school and every student got to play some kind of rhythm instrument and the best thing to play of course was the kazoo. That was what everyone wanted to play, the kazoo. I was one of the special kids in the class because cause I acted really nice and good and was well behaved so I got a kazoo in the rhythm band but I didn’t really know how to play the kazoo. Nobody ever told me you were supposed to hum through the thing they just held it up to their mouth and blew and they thought I’d figure that out. So I was, I was faking it for quite a while. I faked it… I faked it for quite a while before they realized I was inept at kazoo playing. So the woman came around and she was not very nice she ripped it out of my hand and handed me the rythm sticks and that was the end of my musical career. About two weeks later they picked me to do the drawings at the easel to illustrate the book that we were reading and I got to copy all the pictures in the book to hang on the wall and that’s it. I was four. My whole life changed in that one moment. That one moment. So that’s my that why I’m an artist.
